Secondary School students are to create a video in Italian on the below topic.
Category Years 7-9: 2-3 minutes
Category Years 10-12: 2-3 minutes
Topic: “My Italian Dream” / “Il Mio Sogno Italiano”
Italy is a country rich in history and culture. What are some things about Italy that you dream about? Some ideas are:
- places in Italy you would like to visit
- Italian festivals, celebrations or activities you would like to experience
- Italian foods you would love to eat
- an Italian football team you dream of playing for, or a player you would love to meet
- an Italian fashion house you dream of working or modelling for
- Italian art, music or cultural experiences you would like to enjoy
- an Italian car you dream of owning or driving
The possibilities are endless. You can include one idea, or several.
Tell us about your Italian dream and explain why it is special to you. Be creative!
Video entries may be an individual entry, OR a group entry of up to a maximum of 4 participants. Each participant must submit only one work.
A qualified jury will choose the winners. The decision of the jury is final.
Closing date for all entries is Friday 12 June 2026.
PRIZES
Secondary students will be divided into two categories:
- Years 7 to 9 – video length 2-3 minutes
- Years 10 to 12 – video length 2-3 minutes
Each category will be awarded three prizes of $500, $300 and $200.
