SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ITALIAN STUDENTS OF PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Topic: “My Italian Dream” / “Il Mio Sogno Italiano”

Italy is a country rich in history and culture. What are some things about Italy that you dream about? Some ideas are:

• places in Italy you would like to visit
• Italian festivals, celebrations or activities you would like to experience
• Italian foods you would love to eat
• an Italian football team you dream of playing for, or a player you would love to meet
• an Italian fashion house you dream of working or modelling for
• Italian art, music or cultural experiences you would like to enjoy
• an Italian car you dream of owning or driving

The possibilities are endless. You can include one idea, or several.

Tell us about your Italian dream and explain why it is special to you. Be creative!

Primary School students are to write an essay in Italian on the above topic.

Category Years 5-6: 300 words

Secondary School students are to create a video in Italian on the above topic. 

Category Years 7-9: 2-3 minutes

Category Years 10-12: 2-3 minutes

Three prizes will be awarded for each category worth:

$500 (first prize), $300 (second prize) and $200 (third prize)

A qualified jury will choose the winners. The jury’s decision is final.

Entries must be received by Friday 12 June 2026.
